My name is Delores Hutchinson, and I am honored to serve as Secretary on the Board of Xtreme NYC and as part of the New York Dragon Boat Alliance, Inc. My journey in dragon boat racing began in 2016 when I was introduced to the sport by Thien Le at Morgan Stanley. Since then, my passion for this incredible community has only deepened.
In addition to my involvement in dragon boat racing, I have been privileged to contribute to the growth and enrichment of my community through several nonprofit organizations. As a member of the Crown Heights North Association, a committee member of EST on CB8, and a part of the Sterling Place Civic Association Limited, I have gained valuable experience in community advocacy, organizational governance, and stakeholder collaboration. These roles have allowed me to develop a strong foundation in fostering connections and driving positive change.
Professionally, I am a highly accomplished finance professional with expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational leadership. I am dedicated to applying these skills to support the sustainability of our organization and the advancement of dragon boat racing in New York City. From implementing strategic initiatives to ensuring sound financial policies, I aim to contribute meaningfully to our shared mission.
