NYDBA Members Give Back at Flushing Meadows Corona Park
On March 21st, NYDBA members participated in a hands-on stewardship event at Flushing Meadows Corona Park alongside NYC Parks staff. From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteers learned essential tree pruning techniques and explored the basics of urban horticulture while helping maintain and improve the park’s green spaces.
Our members embraced the opportunity to give back, working side-by-side with experts and fellow volunteers to make a meaningful impact. The event not only supported the health of the park but also strengthened our commitment to community service—while allowing participants to earn service hours.
We’re proud of everyone who represented NYDBA and look forward to continuing our efforts to support and uplift our community.
